Two brothers looking for an opportunity to work together and connect their different business disciplines and experience: Lance: a career in sales and relationship management combined with having run a small business as an owner driver; and Jamie: an accounting background, experience in working more strategically with clients and demystifying what the numbers mean, so that customers can make better informed and more strategic decisions about their business. Having both seen from personal experience how important it is to have the right funding in place and support of a financier who understands business (and the negative implications if you don’t) – we recognized that there was a gap in the market and the real need for a finance business focused on structuring your finance right to match cash flow…….to create opportunities for *high performance*…..hence our name *Carrera Finance*…a finance company with high performance values and aspirations for our customers. Born and raised in the South Island our understanding of business and the vehicles, plant and equipment used means we will often provide finance in situations that other financiers may not. For example funding second hand assets, providing working capital release loans on existing plant and funding equipment repairs or rebuilds. We’ll also look at longer terms, which are matched to the economic life of an asset and its intended use.
